BREAKING NEWS: Scientists Warn that Huge Asteroid Could Strike Earth on March 21st

BREAKING NEWS: Scientists were today warning of a possible asteroid collision with the Earth. An asteroid around two-thirds of a mile wide (1.2km) could hit the earth on March 21, 2014 and has been classified as “an event meriting careful monitoring” by astronomers. But they say the probability of the asteroid hitting Earth is just 1 in 909,000 and the risk of impact is likely to decrease as they collect more information. The newly-discovered asteroid, known as 2003 QQ47, has a mass of around 2,600 million tons (2,600 billion kg). Its orbit calculations are currently based on just 51 observations during a seven-day period. Dr Alan Fitzsimmons of Queen’s University, Belfast, one of the expert team advising the UK NEO (Near Earth Objects) Information Centre, based in Leicester, said: “The NEO will be observable from Earth for the next two months, and astronomers will continue to track it over this period.” The giant rock was first observed on August 24 by Lincoln Near Earth Asteroid Research Program (LINEAR), based in Socorro, New Mexico. MORE

DAYS OF LOT – New reality show to feature couples having sex in a box

Reality TV is about to get hot and heavy. WE tv has ordered a one-hour pilot of Sex Box, a reality show where couples will do the deed inside a soundproof box. Based on the U.K. show of the same name, the format takes real couples whose relationships are on the rocks, has them fornicate in the box, and then immediately address their issues with a panel of experts. The ‘in the moment’ approach “fosters conversations about intimacy that are completely filterless and emotionally honest,” according to the network’s pilot description. “Sex Box is an intriguing and original concept from a top production partner and we’re very excited about its potential, which has already been clearly demonstrated overseas — where it’s a hit,” said WE tv president Marc Juris. MORE

Obama: If Obamacare’s Too Expensive, Cancel Cable, Cell Phone

In a town hall meeting staged for Spanish-language media, President Obama said that low-income folks who are struggling to handle the unexpectedly high rates for Obamacare simply needed to get their priorities straight and cancel their cable and cell phone contracts. The March 6th town hall was another piece of Obama’s increasingly frantic Obamacare rehabilitation campaign, which recently featured Obama alongside Zach Galifianakis on “Between Two Ferns,” this one intended in part for the Spanish-speaking  population. As HotAir’s Ed Morissey reported, when a viewer challenged the president about the “affordability” of the new program for low-income Americans like him who are now forced to buy comprehensive health insurance, Obama first tried to point fingers at states like Texas who refused Medicaid money, but then ended up saying that really it came down to priorities, saying, I guess what I would say is, if you looked at that person’s budget, and if you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill—other things that they’re spending on—it may turn out that, it’s just they haven’t prioritized healthcare. MORE

ALERT: The Obama Peace Plan Includes Permanently Dividing The City Of Jerusalem

Barack Obama’s “two state” peace plan would not just permanently divide the land of Israel.  It would also permanently divide the city of Jerusalem.  It is anticipated that the “Kerry Plan”, which is expected to be revealed to the public soon, will call for a Palestinian capital in east Jerusalem without specifying the exact borders.  According to some media reports, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has approached Palestinian leadership with the idea of locating the Palestinian capital in the neighborhood of Beit Hanina.  Of course the details of any peace agreement will change as negotiations progress, but one thing is becoming increasingly clear – the Palestinians will never accept an undivided Jerusalem and the U.S. government is going to pressure Israel to hand part of the holy city over to them.  But if Israel gives in and accepts a “peace plan” that includes the permanent division of Jerusalem, it will end up being absolutely disastrous for Israel, for the Palestinians and for the United States. MORE

Secretary of State John Kerry warned of serious repercussions for Russia on Monday if last-ditch talks over the weekend to resolve the crisis in Ukraine failed to persuade Moscow to soften its stance.Kerry will travel to London for a Friday meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov ahead of a Sunday referendum vote in the Crimea region to secede from Ukraine and join the Russian Federation.  U.S. and European officials argue that Moscow is orchestrating the referendum and waging an intimidation campaign with thousands of Russian troops controlling the region. If Russian-backed lawmakers in Crimea go through with the Sunday referendum, Kerry said the U.S. and its European allies will not recognize it as legitimate under international law. The U.S. and Europe on Monday would then unite to impose sanctions on Russia, Kerry told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee Thursday during a hearing on the State Department’s budget. MORE

Air Force Cadets ‘Revolt’ Against Removal of Scripture from Academy Dorm White Board

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. – A number of Air Force cadets stationed at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado have staged a ‘revolt’ against the recent erasure of Scripture from a white board outside of a cadet’s bedroom. “I have been crucified with Christ therefore I no longer live, but Christ lives in me,” the Scripture from Galatians 2:20 read, which was written in marker on the outside of the unnamed cadet’s dorm room door. “And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” According to reports, cadets at the academy and others who saw the handwritten Bible verse soon contacted the Washington-based Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) to lodge a complaint. “Had it been in his room—not a problem. It’s not about the belief. It’s about the time, the place and the manner,” MRFF President Mikey Weinstein told commentator Todd Starnes this week. “It clearly elevated one religious faith over all others at an already virulently hyper-fundamentalist Christian institution. It massively poured fundamentalist Christian gasoline on an already raging out-of-control conflagration of fundamentalist Christian tyranny, exceptionalism and supremacy at [the academy].” MORE

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake has struck off the south coast of Japan, 13 kilometers north of the city Kunisaki-shi, located on the southern Kyushu Island, according to the US Geological Survey. The epicenter fell at a depth of 82.9km, striking off the coast at the intersection between Kyushu, the main island of Honshu, and Shikoku, at 2:06 a.m. on Friday (1706 GMT on Thursday). A 6.3 earthquake is capable of causing ‘serious damage’, according to the USGS, while earthquakes measuring between 6.0 and 6.9 on the Richter scale can be felt up to hundreds of kilometers from the epicenter. The quake struck 36 km south-south-west of the city of Hikari, western Honshu, which has a population of over 50,000 people. No reports of damage or casualties have immediately followed. RT

Was missing jet HIJACKED? US officials fear MH370 was captured and flown to mystery location

US investigators think that Malaysian Airlines flight 370 remained airborne for four more hours after vanishing from its last recorded position – raising the startling prospect the plane could have been hijacked. Officials suspect that the plane flew for a total of five hours based on data automatically downloaded from the Boeing 777′s Rolls Royce engines and sent back to the ground as part of a routine monitoring program. US counter-terrorism teams are now pursuing the astonishing possibility that the plane and its 239 passengers were diverted to an undisclosed location ‘with the intention of using it later for another purpose’. MORE

DEVELOPING: US military say they believe missing Malaysian jet has crashed in the Indian Ocean

U.S. officials believe the missing Malaysia Airlines plane may have crashed into the Indian Ocean, it has been claimed. As Malaysian authorities expanded their search westward towards India today, a senior Pentagon official has been quoted as saying there was ‘an indication’ the plane came down in the ocean. U.S destroyer USS Kidd is now reportedly being moved in to search the area, while Malaysia was due to ask for radar data from India and other neighbouring countries to see if they can trace the plane flying north west. India plans to imminently deploy airplanes and ships in the southern section of the sea, a senior Indian official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. MORE

Russia Sends 6 Fighter Jets to Belarus

Six Russian Su-27 fighter jets and three military transport planes with ground support personnel arrived Thursday at an airbase in Belarus to boost the airspace defenses of the two countries’ Union State, the Russian Defense Ministry said. The ministry said the aircraft from the Western military district have been deployed to the Babruysk airbase in line with a bilateral agreement on the joint protection of the Union State’s airspace. The planes will reinforce the four Russian Su-27 Flanker fighter jets already at the nearby Baranovichi airbase. The Su-27 Flanker is a highly-maneuverable, all-weather fighter jet that could be used in a variety of combat missions, including reconnaissance and the interception of enemy aircraft. MORE

DEVELOPING: Russia Massing Military Forces Near Border With Ukraine

Russia’s Defense Ministry announced new military operations in several regions near the Ukrainian border on Thursday, even as Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany warned the Kremlin to abandon the politics of the 19th and 20th centuries or face diplomatic and economic retaliation from a united Europe. In Moscow, the military acknowledged significant operations involving armored and airborne troops in the Belgorod, Kursk and Rostov regions abutting eastern Ukraine, where many ethnic Russians have protested against the new interim government in Ukraine’s capital, Kiev, and appealed to Moscow for protection. A day after a deputy minister denied any military buildup on the border, the Defense Ministry released a series of statements beginning early Thursday that appeared to contradict that. They outlined what was described as intensive training of units involving artillery batteries, assault helicopters and at least 10,000 soldiers. MORE

George Soros warns British EU exit would trigger foreign company exodus

Billionaire speculator George Soros on Wednesday waded into the political row about Britain’s membership of the EU with a warning that a decision to quit would lead to an exodus of foreign-owned companies. Soros said the argument for Britain remaining part of the EU could be summed up in one word – jobs – as he outlined his concerns that Europe could be pulled apart by decades of slow growth and Japanese-style deflation. The man who helped to force the pound out of the exchange rate mechanism on Black Wednesday in 1992 stressed that Britain had the best of all worlds by being part of the EU but not the euro. Asked about the potential consequences of Britain’s withdrawal from the EU, Soros said: “I will leave it to the British business community, particularly the multinationals that set up factories here as an entry point into the common market, to explain to the public what they stand to lose. But in one word – jobs.” MORE

NSA pretended to be Facebook to infect millions of computers

As part of its efforts to install malware on “millions” of computers worldwide, the National Security Agency impersonated Facebook to trick targets into downloading malicious code. “In some cases the NSA has masqueraded as a fake Facebook server, using the social media site as a launching pad to infect a target’s computer and exfiltrate files from a hard drive,” reports The Intercept in its latest expose based on top-secret documents obtained by Edward Snowden. “[The NSA] has sent out spam emails laced with the malware, which can be tailored to covertly record audio from a computer’s microphone and take snapshots with its webcam. The hacking systems have also enabled the NSA to launch cyberattacks by corrupting and disrupting file downloads or denying access to websites.” MORE

She and Rachel had just started hanging out when they decided to attend one Sunday morning. “I came on a mission to shock people,” Amy admits. “Rachel and I would hold hands in front of people, but instead of the disgusted looks of contempt we expected, people met eyes with us and treated us like real people. So we started coming to church weekly. We kept moving closer to the front each week, trying to get a reaction so that we’d be rejected sooner rather than later. When we couldn’t shock people, we stopped trying and started learning.” MORE

DAYS OF LOT – Judge Asked To Order Utah To Recognize Gay Marriages

Lawyers for four same-sex couples who wed in Utah while a ban on gay marriage was briefly lifted urged a U.S. judge on Wednesday to force the conservative, heavily Mormon state to recognize their nuptials while the legal battle over marriage plays out in an appeals court. Utah became the 18th U.S. state to extend marriage rights to same-sex couples when a federal district judge, Robert Shelby, ruled in December that a state ban on gay matrimony was unconstitutional. The decision was put on hold by the U.S. Supreme Court, but not before more than 1,300 gay couples had tied the knot. The Utah governor’s office has said the state cannot recognize those weddings – or grant those couples any marriage rights – until an appeal of the case is decided by the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver. MORE

Is “Dr. Copper” Foreshadowing A Stock Market Crash Just Like It Did In 2008?

Is the price of copper trying to tell us something?  Traditionally, “Dr. Copper” has been a very accurate indicator of where the global economy is heading next.  For example, back in 2008 the price of copper dropped from nearly $4.00 to under $1.50 in just a matter of months.  And now it appears that another big decline in the price of copper is starting to happen.  So far this year, the price of copper has dropped from a high of $3.40 back in January to a price of $2.95 as I write this article, and many analysts are warning that this is just the beginning.  By itself, this should be quite alarming to investors, but as you will see below there are a whole host of other signs that a stock market crash may be rapidly approaching. MORE

Pastor Saeed Abedini Pinned Down, Shackled in Iranian Hospital; Refused Surgery

U.S. pastor Saeed Abedini was reportedly pinned down and shackled on Wednesday at an Iranian hospital, where he was also denied much needed surgery. ”This morning Iranian guards lashed out violently against Pastor Saeed and an elderly relative who had been able to visit him in the hospital. Russia’s Defense Ministry has launched massive artillery drills in the Southern Military District involving some 8,500 troops and a large amount of hardware. It coincides with war games conducted by the country’s Airborne Troops. Artillery units are to be deployed in 10 ranges as part of the training, the Defense Ministry said in a statement. They will demonstrate their tactical, technical and special skills and will carry out more than 50 field maneuvers. “The event involves some 8,500 artillery troops and a large number of rocket artillery systems, military and special hardware, including Grad-M, Uragan and Smersh multiple rocket launchers, Msta-S 152-mm caliber self-propelled howitzers, Nona artillery systems and Rapira 100-mm caliber anti-tank guns,” the statement said. About half of the shooting practice exercises will be carried out at nighttime. The drills are focused on inter-service cooperation between artillery units and motorized, armor, airborne and amphibious troops, the ministry said. MORE

Britain’s Cameron puts Iran on guard, sets out support for Israel

British Prime Minister David Cameron denounced Iran’s government as a “despotic regime” in a speech to Israel’s parliament on Wednesday and accused Tehran of making “despicable” efforts to arm Palestinian militants. His address to the Knesset was staunchly pro-Israeli, and he delighted his hosts by claiming Jewish ancestral roots and talking tough on Iran, which is in negotiations with world powers on curbing its contested nuclear ambitions. ”I share your deep skepticism and great concern about Iran,” Cameron said. “I am not starry eyed about the new regime,” he added, referring to the election last year of President Hassan Rouhani, seen as a relative moderate in Iran. MORE

US hits ‘provocative’ China move on Philippine ships

The United States on Wednesday accused China of raising tensions by blocking two Philippines vessels as it urged freedom of navigation in the tense South China Sea. The United States, a treaty-bound ally of Manila, said it was “troubled” by Sunday’s incident in which China prevented movement of two ships contracted by the Philippine navy to deliver supplies and troops to the disputed Second Thomas Shoal. ”This is a provocative move that raises tensions. Pending resolution of competing claims in the South China Sea, there should be no interference with the efforts of claimants to maintain the status quo,” State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said. MORE

Plane may have flown for hours after losing contact.

U.S. investigators suspect that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 stayed in the air for about four hours past the time it reached its last confirmed location, according to two people familiar with the details, raising the possibility that the plane could have flown on for hundreds of additional miles under conditions that remain murky. Aviation investigators and national security officials believe the plane flew for a total of five hours, based on data automatically downloaded and sent to the ground from the Boeing Co. 777′s engines as part of a routine maintenance and monitoring program. That raises a host of new questions and possibilities about what happened aboard the widebody jet carrying 239 people, which vanished from civilian air-traffic control radar over the weekend, about one hour into a flight to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur. Six days after the mysterious disappearance prompted a massive international air and water search that so far hasn’t produced any results, the investigation appears to be broadening in scope.MORE

‘There Is Nothing’: Malaysian Authorities Do Not Find Missing Plane Where Chinese Satellite Images Showed Possible Debris

Search planes dispatched Thursday to examine an area where Chinese satellite images showed what might have been debris from the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 found nothing, officials told CBS News. The Malaysian Air Force director of operations told CBS News in Kuala Lumpur that planes sent up based on the Chinese satellite images from Sunday, the day after Flight 370 went missing south of Vietnam, had located no debris. Later Thursday, Malaysian civil aviation chief Azharuddin Abdul Rahman reiterated the latest bad news in the search for the plane. “There is nothing. We went there, there is nothing,” he told reporters. Separately, a Reuters journalist who was on board a Vietnamese search aircraft dispatched to the same area Thursday, said no debris was spotted. “Aircraft repeatedly circled the area over the South China Sea but were unable to detect any objects,” Reuters reported. MORE

America’s in-demand global force against terrorists is showing signs of stress and appears to be gliding toward a decline in readiness, says a Pentagon budget overview on special operations forces. With the end of U.S. military operations in the Iraq War, the thought was that fewer deployments would give some relief to special operations forces after a dozen years of overseas fighting. But the 2015 budget overview says demand for special operations forces is up, not down. It talks of “significant stress on the force” and notes that the demand for Delta Force troops, Green Berets, Navy SEALs and other commandos is “outpacing capacity” and has “initiated a downward trend in SOF readiness” this year. Retired Rear Adm. George Worthington, once the Navy’s top SEAL, said the wear and tear on mind and body, much less equipment, is becoming apparent. MORE

A potent threat of major earthquake off California’s northern coast

If a 9.0 earthquake were to strike along California’s sparsely populated North Coast, it would have a catastrophic ripple effect. A giant tsunami created by the quake would wash away coastal towns, destroy U.S. 101 and cause $70 billion in damage over a large swath of the Pacific coast. More than 100 bridges would be lost, power lines toppled and coastal towns isolated. Residents would have as few as 15 minutes notice to flee to higher ground, and as many as 10,000 would perish. Scientists last year published this grim scenario for a massive rupture along the Cascadia fault system, which runs 700 miles off shore from Northern California to Vancouver Island. The Cascadia subduction zone is less known than the San Andreas fault, which scientists have long predicted will produce The Big One. But in recent years, scientists have come to believe that the Cascadia is far more dangerous than originally believed and have been giving the system more attention. MORE

NAFTA could be open for discussion, Harper hints during trade talk

With the ink still wet on a free-trade deal with South Korea, Prime Minister Stephen Harper says Canada would be willing to reopen the North American Free Trade Agreement for the right price. Harper stopped in Vancouver on his way home from South Korea on Wednesday, wasting no time in selling the new agreement. In a question-and-answer session at a B.C. Chamber of Commerce gathering, he said his government remains focused on building global trade, “particularly given that some of our traditional trading partners — like the United States — may not have the kind of growth rates that you’re talking about for a very long time to come.” That said, the prime minister made it clear that Canada may be interested in renegotiating NAFTA with the U.S. and Mexico. U.S. President Barack Obama originally vowed to open NAFTA during his first presidential campaign. American officials have again expressed interest in opening the 20-year-old pact, Harper said. MORE

Paralysed ECB leaves Europe at the mercy of deflation shock from China

Most of western Europe is already in outright deflation. So are the Balkans, the Baltic states and the old Habsburg core. The Continent has left its flank open to an external shock from Asia. There is a high chance that this will occur as China attempts to extricate itself from a $24 trillion credit misadventure by debasing its currency to regain lost competitiveness and bail out its export industry. The yuan has fallen by nearly 2pc against the dollar since early January, and 4pc against the euro. For all the talk of weaning China off chronic over-investment, Beijing engineered a record $5 trillion of investment in fixed capital last year – up 20pc from the year before, and as much as the US and Europe combined. This has created a vast overhang of excess manufacturing capacity in the global system. It is coming our way in the form of a slow, powerful, deflationary undercurrent. MORE

Earth has a secret reservoir of water, scientists say

One hundred and fifty years ago, in Journey to the Centre of the Earth, French science-fiction forerunner Jules Verne pictured a vast sea that lay deep under our planet’s surface. Today, that strange and haunting image has found an unexpected echo in a scientific paper. That particular zone in the Earth, the transition zone, might have as much water as all the world’s oceans put together. Writing in the journal Nature, scientists said they had found an elusive mineral pointing to the existence of a vast reservoir deep in Earth’s mantle, 400 to 600 kilometres beneath our feet. It may hold as much water as all the planet’s oceans combined, they believe. The evidence comes from a water-loving mineral called ringwoodite that came from the so-called transition zone sandwiched between the upper and lower layers of Earth’s mantle, they said. Analysis shows a whopping 1.5 per cent of the rock comprises molecules of water. MORE

Planned_Parenthood_rally-640x427Planned Parenthood’s Elokin CaPece is on a global mission—to make “sexperts” of students across the mid-south and send them forth to indoctrinate the world. The University of Memphis campus newspaper, The Daily Helmsman, is hawking “sexpert” training at Planned Parenthood, “offering students the opportunity to become educators and advocates for sexual health and safety on college campuses throughout the MidSouth.” CaPece, education director for Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis Region, is quoted in the article: “I hope sexperts becomes a revolution. . . . That we teach you what you need to know about sex and you go and teach the world.” For a Baptist turned Catholic like me, that sounds a lot like a bastardization of “The Great Commission” found in Matthew 28:18-20. MORE

Nuclear radiation found in B.C. may pose health concerns

A radioactive metal from the Fukushima nuclear plant disaster in Japan has been discovered in the Fraser Valley, causing researchers to raise the alarm about the long-term impact of radiation on B.C.’s west coast. Examination of a soil sample from Kilby Provincial Park, near Agassiz, has for the first time in this province found Cesium 134, further evidence of Fukushima radioactivity being transported to Canada by air and water. “That was a surprise,” said Juan Jose Alava, an adjunct professor in the school of resource and environmental management at Simon Fraser University, in an interview on Tuesday. “It means there are still emissions … and trans-Pacific air pollution. It’s a concern to us. This is an international issue.” Cesium 134 has a half-life of two years, meaning its radioactivity is reduced by half during that time. Its presence in the environment is an indication of continuing contamination from Fukushima. A more persistent danger to people and marine life is radioactive Cesium 137, which has a half-life of 30 years, and bioaccumulates in the food chain. MORE

Dr. Ben Carson: Our Government Is Like ‘Nazi Germany’

Dr. Ben Carson, the conservative neurosurgeon who criticized President Baracks Obama at a White House prayer breakfast last year, claimed America is now “very much like Nazi Germany.” Carson made the incendiary remarks on Monday during an interview with Breitbart TV, after the doctor had just finished speaking at the annual New York Meeting. After mentioning that “we live in a Gestapo age” during his speech, moderator Mallory Factor asked him to elaborate. “[We’re] very much like Nazi Germany,” he responded. “And I know you’re not supposed to say ‘Nazi Germany,’ but I don’t care about political correctness. You know, you had a government using its tools to intimidate the population.” MORE

The purpose of the conference was to save America from a “dire” situation, revealed Schwartz. US President Barack Obama has given Iran permission to build a nuclear weapon through a “bogus deal,” charged Schwartz, warning the Iranians “will come back to Israel, G-d forbid, they will come back to America.” ”Giving Israel bunker busters and (fuel) tankers, and a lot more so that they can go ahead and do America’s job is the very minimum that America should do,” appraised the conservative leader. MORE

Angela Merkel: Russia ‘will not get away’ with annexation of Crimea

Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, has promised that Russia will not “get away” with “annexing” Crimea as world powers agreed to impose targeted sanctions on senior figures close to the Kremlin.

Mrs Merkel told a meeting of her parliamentary party that Russia’s intervention in Ukraine violated the principles of post-war order in Europe. Her stark message came as America and the European Union agreed a joint response to Russia’s de facto seizure of Crimea, backed by other countries including Canada and Japan. Mrs Merkel told MPs from the Christian Democratic Union: “What has happened in Crimea is an annexation which Russia must not be allowed to get away with.” She warned that sanctions on Russia were justified even if they damaged the German economy, according to Der Spiegel. The two countries have close economic ties, with bilateral trade exceeding £63 billion last year. Germany now ranks as Russia’s third-biggest trading partner. MORE

DAYS OF LOT – United Methodist ‘Bishop’ Refuses to Hold Ministers Accountable for Performing Same-Sex ‘Weddings’

The head of the New York Conference of the United Methodist Church has ended the church trial of a minister who officiated his son’s same-sex “wedding,” and is now vowing to end all future trials in the region. “Church trials produce no winners,” Martin D. McLee told reporters on Monday. “[They] result in harmful polarization and continue the harm brought upon our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters.” As previously reported, Thomas Ogletree, 80, was set to stand trial today at the First United Methodist Church of Stanford following complaints filed by fellow clergy who accused him of violating church doctrine. Ogletree, a retired United Methodist minister and former Yale Divinity School Dean, had officiated his son’s same-sex “wedding” in 2012 against the Book of Discipline. The Book outlines that “the practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching” and that “self-avowed practicing homosexuals” may not be ordained as ministers in the denomination. It also forbids ministers from hosting or participating in “ceremonies that celebrate homosexual unions.” MORE

In 2011 Anthony Josef Norris, an artist working directly with children and schools was arrested for possession of child pornography. Lots of it.  This happened in San Francisco, quel shock, perhaps the nation’s original heart of darkness. There citizens of the golden city coexist in a radiant and glorious show of tolerance of all things. Beneficence of the doubt led to the birth of NAMBLA (National Association of Man-Boy Love Association) and now grotesque S & M porn film sets fill the entire San Francisco armory. Predictably, a polite uproar ensued after Norris’ arrest with limited hand wringing and fears for the safety of the children he had worked with. His murals made by enlisting the help of squadrons of children’s art classes stretched across the region. By the time authorities took a peek, they found about 100 images that may not convey “perversion” to an average, non-child-raping person, but in context were just creepy. “Inappropriate” was the verdict of Police Chief Greg Suhr; tiny, nude children frolicking here and there amongst the shrubbery. It’s like the signature a killer leaves to mock police, making no sense until they discover the entire story.MORE

Newly released videos show Muslims conducting “ritual human sacrifices” by slitting the throats of their victims or putting a bullet in their heads, according to researcher Walid Shoebat, a former member of the Palestine Liberation Organization who converted to Christianity. Shoebat’s report includes several videos of ritual sacrifices. He noted the speaker in one video uses the term Qurban just before gunfire erupts and men lined up in a row fall to the floor one by one. Shoebat explained that the Arabic term “can only signify a sacrifice, which indicates that the filmed slaughter is nothing but a ritual human sacrifice.” Another video shows the throat of the “sacrifice” being slit with a knife “Christians are being killed in these very rituals every day, and the bloodshed will not stop. We must work together to rescue them,” Shoebat said. MORE

Liberman in response to rocket attack: Israel should take over Gaza

“We can not just let this pass,” he said in a Channel 2 interview. “An attack like this, after operations like Pillar of Defense and Cast Lead, leave no alternative other than the full occupation of the Gaza Strip, cleaning it out, and only then looking for a solution with the Egyptians. I am talking about the full occupation of Gaza.” Liberman said that thousands of missiles are hidden in Gaza, and the terrorist organizations are increasing their own rocket manufacturing capabilities. ”There is a need to put an end to this,” he said. “The citizens of the south cannot be allowed to be hostages in the hands of the terrorists.” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, asked about Liberman’s comments at a press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron, did not endorse them, saying that he would not get into “operational details.” MORE

New Zealand Raises Interest Rates.

New Zealand’s central bank raised its key interest rate, the first developed nation to exit record-low borrowing costs this year, and said it plans to remove stimulus faster than earlier forecast to contain prices. “It is necessary to raise interest rates toward a level at which they are no longer adding to demand,” Reserve Bank of New Zealand Governor Graeme Wheeler said in a statement in Wellington after increasing the official cash rate by a quarter percentage point to 2.75 percent, as forecast by all 15 economists in a Bloomberg News survey. The Kiwi gained after Wheeler said further increases are likely in coming months and the OCR may rise by a total of 125 basis points this year. MORE

Venezuelans Are Marked With Numbers To Stand In Line At Government Supermarkets

BiORd-UCcAIBPhx copy

Revelation 13:16-18 – 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

According to a source familiar with what’s going on, this number-scribbling takes place outside large cities like Caracas, and it doesn’t happen in private supermarkets. However, private supermarkets can set a limit to the number of items a person can buy. For example: You can only pick up 4 liters of milk, 2 liters of oil, 2 kilos of sugar etc. And that’s if the market even has those items. People also have numbers on their ID cards, which decide which days they can even get in line to shop at supermarkets like San Cristobal’s Bicentenario, according to AFP. Protests taking place all over the country aren’t helping either. Demonstrators have been building barricades, which are slowing the flow of goods from place to place. MORE
