WAR DRUMS: Ukraine reports Russian ‘invasion’ on eve of Crimea vote.

Ukraine accused Russia on Saturday of invading a region bordering Crimea and vowed to use “all necessary measures” to repel an attack that came on the eve of the Black Sea peninsula’s breakaway vote. The invasion reported by the Ukrainian foreign ministry was small in scale and concerned a region that lies just off the northeast coast of Crimea called the Arabat Spit. The dramatic escalation of the most serious East-West crisis since the Cold War set a tense stage for Sunday’s referendum on Crimea’s secession from Ukraine in favour of Kremlin rule — a vote denounced by both the international community and Kiev. MORE

Dark filament breakout observed on the Sun

Amateur astronomers are noting an outbreak of dark magnetic filaments on the sun. The longest, which measure 100,000 km to 250,000 km from end to end, are snaking around the sun’s southeastern limb. Sergio Castillo sends this picture from his backyard observatory in Inglewood, CA: “If they collapse, these monster solar filaments could produce a Hyder flare,” says Castillo. Indeed, he continues, “one of them erupted just yesterday.” With all of the sunspots on the Earthside of the sun currently quieting, these filaments could be the source of greatest solar activity this weekend. Amateur astronomers with solar telescopes are encouraged to monitor developments.EXTINCTION PROTOCOL

BIRTH PANGS- Planet shaken by spasm of moderate earthquakes over last 24 hours

earthquakes-march-15
In the past 24 hours, the planet has been reeling from a series of moderate earthquakes that have erupted all across the Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire is an area where a large number of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean. It is the most geologically-active region on the planet. In a nearly 40,000 km (25,000 mi) horseshoe shape, the region is associated with a nearly continuous series of oceanic trenches, volcanic arcs, and volcanic belts and/or plate movements. It has 452 volcanoes and is home to over 75% of the world’s active and dormant volcanoes. About 90% of the world’s earthquakes and 81% of the world’s largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. In the past 24 hours, double moderate earthquakes 5.3 and 5.6 magnitude earthquakes have struck Indonesia. A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck NE of San Isidro Philippines. A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck NE of the Iwo Jima Islands of Japan. A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck South Central Peru. A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck SE of Easter Island. A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck SE Colombia. A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck WSW of Santa Cruz, Chile. A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck south of the continent of Africa. A 5.2 and 5.0 erupted along the Owen Fracture Zone, west of Africa. A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck Greece. A 4.0 quake was reported NE of Xudat, Azerbaijan. And a 4.8 magnitude earthquake was reported ESE of Mohean, India. Tectonic plates across the globe are being perturbed by this latest burst of seismic activity which peaks around every spring equinox. People in high risk seismic regions should remain alert for the potential occurrence of large seismic events.  EXTINCTION PROTOCOL

Sick and Twisted Performance in Lady Gaga Concert Displays More evidence of Demonic Activity

Pop star Lady Gaga is known for her shocking outfits and antics. But what she did on stage Thursday night at the South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, has left even some of the most desensitized critics calling it “ridiculous” and “sick.” While performing her song “Swine,” the singer was joined by someone named Millie Brown. Brown is an artist of sorts who specializes in painting with…vomit. That’s right, she ingests colored liquid and then sticks her fingers down her throat and literally vomits all over a canvas. On Thursday, Brown did just that — except there was no canvas: She vomited a green liquid onto Lada Gaga. MORE

UPDATE: Malaysia Airlines probe refocusing on passengers and crew

A week after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 vanished, the investigation shifted to passengers and crew after data showed the plane deviated due to deliberate action, Prime Minister Najib Razak said Saturday ”Malaysian authorities have refocused their investigation on crew and passengers aboard,” Najib told reporters. “Evidence is consistent with someone acting deliberately from inside the plane.” Najib stopped short of calling it a hijacking, saying investigators have not made a final determination. ”Despite media reports that the plane was hijacked, we are investigating all major possibilities on what caused MH370 to deviate,” he said. MORE

San Francisco Man Arrested For Allegedly Biting Nose Off Infant Son

An 18-year-old Fairfield man has been arrested for biting the nose off of his infant son, police said. Fairfield Police said they received a phone call from a hysterical female saying her infant child was bleeding from its nose. Doctors at North Bay Medical Center determined the infant’s nose had been severed and the child had possible head trauma, according to the police press release. The infant was later taken to Oakland Children’s Hospital where doctors determined the 1-month-old infant had a skull fracture, a brain hemorrhage, and a third of the child’s nose had been severed off, according to the release. MORE

WAR DRUMS: U.S. Rushing Headlong Into War with Russia

So, let’s get this straight. The United States is all for democracy and democracy is about voting and making sure the majority rules. If a majority in Crimea votes to align itself with Russia because most Crimeans have an affinity for Russia, the United States and the United Nations, the latter sitting on the lap of the former, will decide democracy is illegal. Earlier today Estonian Defense Minister Urmas Reinsalu said he’s sure Russia plans to invade Ukraine. This was carried uncritically and sans any objective examination by the corporatist establishment media in the United States.MORE

DAYS OF LOT – CONDOMS NEVER FDA-APPROVED FOR SODOMY

A class action lawsuit by AIDS victims and their loved ones would rock the world – a suit based on the fact that condom pushers have for years dispensed false, deceptive claims about how the product protects – or fails to protect – the health of sex participants. The reality is that everyday condoms are manufactured and approved for natural, vaginal sex, not anal “sex” – they are not effectively designed to protect from disease those people who engage in sodomy. Such a lawsuit should target the AIDS Heathcare Foundation, Planned Parenthood and a myriad of teachers and school systems, too many to count, that have taught that anal “sex” (traditionally termed “sodomy” or “buggery” under British-based legal codes) as not so different than natural coitus. MORE

CHINA INTERCEPTED MISSING MALAYSIAN FLIGHT?

A review of China’s recently updated strict rules for aircraft identification over the South China Sea raises immediate questions about a possible Chinese military response to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight that, according to many reports, was last seen over the disputed waters.  Information indicates it is unlikely the Boeing 777, Flight 370 carrying 239 people, went undetected by China’s military, which is highly active in the South China Sea and has specific new contingencies for unidentified flights. Reports indicate the airplane was last picked up by civilian radar over the South China Sea flying northeast before disappearing. Investigators have now expanded the search area to over 35,000 square miles, encompassing the South China Sea toward the Indian Ocean. In November 2013, China faced international condemnation when it imposed its East China Sea Air Defense Identification Zone over the sea in what was seen as a grab of parts of the waters. The U.S. responded immediately by flying two B-52 bombers over the airspace unannounced. MORE

Arizona is the latest state to confirm cases of the deadly Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus, a highly contagious pig disease, increasing the tally of U.S. states with confirmed cases to 27, a group of animal health researchers said. Virginia has reported positive samples of the virus in the environment, but not yet in a hog herd, according to data released on Thursday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Animal Health Laboratory Network. Confirmed cases of PEDv increased by 274 in the week ending March 8, bringing the total number to 4,458 in 27 states. While one case can represent an individual animal or an entire herd at a single site, hog industry analysts estimate PEDv has killed between 4 million and 5 million U.S. hogs since it was discovered in May 2013. MORE

ALERT: Russian companies withdraw billions from west, say Moscow bankers

Russian companies are pulling billions out of western banks, fearful that any US sanctions over the Crimean crisis could lead to an asset freeze, according to bankers in Moscow. Sberbank and VTB, Russia’s giant partly state-owned banks, as well as industrial companies, such as energy group Lukoil, are among those repatriating cash from western lenders with operations in the US. VTB has also cancelled a planned US investor summit next month, according to bankers. The flight comes as last-ditch diplomatic talks between Russia’s foreign minister and the US secretary of state to resolve the tensions in Ukraine ended without an agreement. MORE

RISE OF THE NWO – USA GIVES UP CONTROL OF NET; NEW GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

U.S. officials announced plans Friday to relinquish federal government control over the administration of the Internet, a move that pleased international critics but alarmed some business leaders and others who rely on the smooth functioning of the Web. Pressure to let go of the final vestiges of U.S. authority over the system of Web addresses and domain names that organize the Internet has been building for more than a decade and was supercharged by the backlash last year to revelations about National Security Agency surveillance. The change would end the long-running contract between the Commerce Department and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), a California-based nonprofit group. That contract is set to expire next year but could be extended if the transition plan is not complete. “We look forward to ICANN convening stakeholders across the global Internet community to craft an appropriate transition plan,” Lawrence E. Strickling, assistant secretary of commerce for communications and information, said in a statement. The announcement set off a passionate response, with some groups quickly embracing the change and others blasting it. MORE
